Rockwell Collins at AUVSI 2010: A systems approach to integrated airspace
At AUVSI 2010, Rockwell Collins is showcasing a diverse portfolio of UAS products and solutions that make it possible to safely
integrate manned and unmanned aircraft in the airspace.
Rockwell Collins has completed successful flight tests of a significantly damaged subscale F/A-18 UAV. The Defense Advanced
Research Projects Agency (DARPA) sponsored flight demonstrations held at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland.
Additionally, Dr. David Vos, senior director of Rockwell Collins Control Technologies and UAS, will announce the company's
newest contracts in the UAV market segment, showcase video footage from most recent damage tolerance control tests, and further
discuss the next steps to enable the convergence of manned an unmanned airspace. This press briefing takes place at 12:30
p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 24.
Rockwell Collins will also be giving away an iPad during a drawing at the company's booth (Booth 2211) at 3 p.m. Wednesday,
Aug. 25.
AUVSI attendees are invited to visit Rockwell Collins exhibit to learn how the following Rockwell Collins systems provide
safe and reliable flight operations in mixed use airspace and ensure mission success in the battlespace.
